Once the VA regional office has made a decision with which a veteran is dissatisfied, the next step is an appeal to the Board of Veterans' Appeals. A Veterans Law Judge at the Board will review the veteran's entire file, and any new argument and evidence the veteran wishes to submit.
Our firm represents hundreds of veterans at this level of the appeal process. We draft arguments, and in most cases, provide counsel during the veterans' hearings. This can be done via video conference, where a veteran is present in his or her nearest regional office while the representative is present with the Veterans Law Judge in Washington, DC. Our Washington, DC office is located near the Board of Veterans' Appeals, making it convenient for an experienced advocate to assist in presenting and arguing a veteran's case.
